Dear Prospective Client:
Thank you for considering our services for your upcoming event. Artemis Foods offers fresh, creative, local and sustainable catering.
We are fully licensed, insured and permitted for catering and alcohol service and are a preferred caterer at several venues in the greater Portland area.
Our events are billed as follows:
Menu price per guest: plus 18% suggested gratuity
Rentals: Dinnerware, flatware, linens, glassware: estimate $8-12 per guest
Tables & Chairs: estimate an additional $3.50-$4.50 per guest
Canopies are also available for rental
Staffing: Estimate $7-12 per guest for buffet service
Professional and gracious staff booked at $25.00 per hour (per server, kitchen staff, bartender and event lead) with a four hour minimum, including travel time from Portland when applicable.
Beverages: Estimate 1.5 drinks per guest, per hour
Alcohol is billed on consumption and is served by our OLCC licensed servers

You are welcome to provide your own alcohol with a $4.00 bar set up fee which covers our licensing and liquor liability. For this fee, we also provide ice, equipment and tools for a professional bar presentation.
We prefer to handle the details and booking of your rentals. This proves to be the best formula for overall success and seamlessness of events.
We highly recommend that you retain a coordinator for the day of the event, especially for weddings. We can recommend one to you or we can make one of our trained coordinators available to you @ $35.00 per hour with a 4 hour minimum on the day of the event. As part of our catering service, we provide the first two hours of coordinating at no charge. Also included are the following:
• set-up and break down of event
• (1) site visit (up to 1 hour)
• (1) planning meeting (up to 1 hour)
Additional coordinating hours (preceding event) at $35.00 per hour (2 hour minimum)
A menu tasting is available when Artemis Foods and the client have established that it is a good fit for both parties. The tasting is an opportunity for the client to experience the culinary style and approach of Artemis Foods. There is a $50.00 tasting fee which usually includes tasting a few appetizers or one entrée item. If the client decides to book with Artemis, the tasting fee will be applied to the closing invoice for the booked event.
A deposit of 25% of the catering cost is due to guarantee this catering event. A final confirmation of the guest count is due 14 days before the date of the event. The balance is due 7 days before the event, a final invoice will be provided. Any beverage charges “to be determined” shall be held on a credit card for the client and processed the following business day after the event. Changes to menu/rentals or set up may not be made after 14 days prior to event.
